Accreditation Team Resources
Accreditation Team Leaders
The role of the team leader is critical to the success of an accreditation visit. The team leader’s understanding of the accreditation process, and sensitivity, perspective, concern for accuracy, attention to detail, and overall leadership will largely determine the school’s eventual feelings about the value of the accreditation program.
Accreditation Team Members
Accreditation teams are composed of faculty and administrators from ISACS-accredited member schools. Team members are recommended by their head of school for service, based upon skills, background, interest, and writing ability. Then, depending upon the needs of each individual team, members are invited to serve by ISACS from a pool of about 300 volunteers. Service is voluntary and done with the understanding that by helping another school in the accreditation process, such service will be reciprocated when the time comes for one’s own school to be accredited.
