Advises the Executive Director and Board of Trustees on the needs of the school faculties for Association services. Promotes professional development for teachers and administrators.
Provides encouragement, coordination, cooperation, and support for the efforts of state/local professional services committees. Finds ways of recognizing the professional service of teachers and administrators.
The Member Needs Task Force was established as an ad hoc committee for the purpose of identifying for and educating the Board on key issues facing member schools. For each issue of focus, the Task Force provides readings and data to the Board, the Board discusses implications for ISACS services, and the results of the discussion are archived in a white paper to serve as a resource for the next round of association strategic planning.
