There is no stopping the onslaught of digital technologies aimed at education, in general, and students, in particular.

Unfortunately, data has long revealed that the adoption of these tools both within and beyond the classroom most often leads to decreased relationships, increased stress, and decreased learning. It is for this reason that Sweden has recently banned all digital technology from schools outside of dedicated computer labs (and Finland is hot on their heels!) Dive into the question of ‘why’ – why is digital technology so often detrimental to learning and what are the mechanisms driving negative effects? With a deeper understanding of why these tools so often disappoint, we will be better poised to meaningfully consider when and how (if ever) we choose to employ tech and AI to supplement the learning process.

Audience: This webinar is for faculty & administrators, any grade using screens with their students.
