Beating the Winter Blues:
Perspectives from Positive Psychology

Beat the winter slump with insights from the Science of Happiness.

Many educators experience a dip in well-being and optimism during the month of February and it's easy to see why—the days are still short and dark, student engagement tends to be low, and spring break still feels like a long way away.

In this webinar, Bono, a psychologist and author who teaches and conducts research on well-being, will offer insights from his course on The Science of Happiness, which he has taught for more than a decade to thousands of students at WashU. He will share strategies for persevering through the challenges of this time of year and reigniting joy in our personal and professional lives.
