External forces continue to disrupt schools' enrollment goals, from shifting demographics and changing family expectations to increased competition, modified post-pandemic ways of living and working, and more. Join Heather Hoerle, Executive Director, and Chief Executive Officer of the Enrollment Management Association (EMA), for an in-depth view on trends and drivers shaping independent schools right now, which require leaders to embrace a strategic mindset to ensure long-term enrollment success. During the workshop, you will review all independent school trends shaping the enrollment landscape, and Hoerle will share insights on what these trends mean for school leaders.
Building on where we are today, she will speak about how to effectively create an enrollment management strategic mindset in your school community. This will include an interactive session (and subsequent small group sessions) using EMA's Strategic Enrollment Spectrum. Each attendee will assess their school’s effectiveness in the eight areas that are key to enrollment management and determine which areas need focus this year. Small groups will gather in each of these subject areas for further conversation and deliberation. The afternoon will close with an overview of emerging new "business" models in the independent school community and with an expert panel of independent school leaders as well as heads of schools who will share their perspectives on emerging strategic issues within the independent school community.
This workshop is for enrollment leaders and admissions teams, marketing and communications directors, heads of school, finance officers, and trustees.
