THANK YOU TO OUR PRESENTER & ALL OF THE ATTENDEES!
Research shows that struggle and mistake making are essential components to learning and brain growth. And yet many math educators fear allowing their students to struggle during math time and as a result, may unintentionally foster ‘learned helplessness’ among their students. This workshop will explore why and how to make struggle productive and engaging for all students in the math classroom. Participants will gain concrete strategies to reduce math anxiety, support risk-taking, and increase student agency. This workshop applies to all K-8 teachers.
