ISACS Data Collection in DASL
Beginning in 2023, ISACS will expect schools to submit data annually through DASL, the NAIS data collection tool. ISACS has carefully selected a list of data points that will be useful in school planning. Entering data into DASL is free of charge for all ISACS member schools – no NAIS membership required!
We strongly encourage all schools to begin annual data collection through DASL in 2023-24. Schools in Year 1 and Year 2 of the accreditation cycle in 2023-24 will be the first schools required to generate the school profile through DASL as they prepare for the upcoming self-study process and accreditation team visit. We welcome schools with Reaction and Progress Reports due in the next year to create the ISACS School Profile report through DASL, but the traditional School Profile form will also be accepted.
Getting Started
- Make sure that the appropriate school personnel can log in and enter data in DASL. Typically, the head of school and chief financial officer have administrator privileges in DASL and can assign data entry access to others.
- The DASL data entry portal is open! The Foundation data window for 2023-24 closes on October 13. The Financial data portal closes on November 17. You will also find helpful videos, instructions, and other supporting information in the DASL portal (requires login).
- Consult these ISACS documents for instructions and other support for entering data into DASL
