Teacher Representatives

ISACS was originally a teacher organization, which has resulted in the prominence of teachers in its governance, committee structures, and professional growth programs.  Every school has a teacher representative, who in addition to the head of school, has a vote on all Association matters, such as changes in the By-Laws and members of the Board of Trustees.  ISACS may be the only regional association with teachers represented on the Board of Trustees.  The teacher representatives in the schools play the most important role in relating the needs of teachers to the priorities of the Association.  For an explanation of the role of the teacher representatives, see below:
