School Description:

St. Francis School is a Preschool-12th grade school that began operation as a merged school on July 1, 2012; the PS-8 was founded in 1965 and the high school was founded in 1976.  It is a coed, Independent, inter-denominational, Progressive school located on two campuses: the Preschool and JK-8 in Goshen and the High School in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.  We are "The School of Thought," where intellectually challenging academics foster critical, independent thinking. St. Francis is characterized by personal attention, small class sizes, diversity, commitment to community service, student-centric extracurricular activities, and outstanding teachers who are dedicated to their subject areas and to teenagers. In classrooms, in competitions, and in service, St. Francis students prepare for college and for life.
