School Description:

Old Trail School is a co-educational day school serving students in Early Childhood Program classes through eighth grade. The School was founded in 1920 and has a current enrollment of 527 students. The School provides a safe setting where students can satisfy and celebrate their thirst for learning and trying new things. Old Trail School’s core values – respect, responsibility, goodness and service – are truly at the core of all we do to educate children and prepare them for their role in the wider world. Our 62-acre campus in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Bath, Ohio, provides us with a glorious natural setting to support the exciting things happening inside and outside our traditional classrooms. If you are seeking a superior education within a community where you and your family will experience and enjoy a true sense of belonging, we invite you to consider Old Trail School.

Our students are nurtured by cherished traditions and challenged by innovation. Old Trail School’s comprehensive curriculum seamlessly weaves learning so that students connect the art project they are working on to the language arts, science, social studies or math lesson they experienced earlier that day. Our graduates cherish their relationships with teachers, friendships with classmates and a general feeling of belonging to a community that values their opinions, creativity and joyful spirit. Old Trail School offers an expansive athletics program including an indoor pool and as well as a broad performing and visual arts program featuring five art studios.
