Site Visits to Louisville area schools on Wednesday, November 6
As a courtesy to ISACS members and to encourage sharing among schools, ISACS will compile a list of Louisville area schools interested in hosting colleagues traveling to Louisville for the ISACS Annual Conference. Check back in August for the list of host schools. Please contact the school directly to schedule your site visit.

Trustee Day: Thursday, November 7
ISACS will be hosting Trustee Day designed specifically for trustees in ISACS schools on Thursday, November 7 at the Kentucky International Convention Center. For more information, visit the www.isacs.org/trusteeday.

If you plan to attend Trustee Day on Thursday and also attend the Friday portion of the Annual Conference, please contact the ISACS office to receive a coupon code for registration for the Annual Conference. You will need to register separately for Trustee Day and the Annual Conference.  

2019 Annual Conference Sponsorships & Exhibitor Opportunities

Exhibitors and Sponsors at the conference will have access to educators from more than 240 schools in our 13-state region. ISACS expects more than 1,400 faculty, administrators, and trustees to pass through the exhibit area. Call the ISACS office for more information.

    If your company would like additional exposure at the Annual Conference, please review the 2019-2020 Sponsorship & Exhibitor Opportunities PDF, which lists enhanced benefits at different levels of sponsorship. If you become a Chancellor or President’s sponsor your exhibitor fee will be complimentary and your company will receive priority table top selection (based on application submission date and must be received by Friday, July 12, 2019).

    The exhibitor area will be open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 7 and 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, November 8 (with appropriate lunch breaks). New this year – the Thursday, November 7 reception (4:30 – 5:30 pm) with Heads, ISACS Board,  and school leaders will take place in the exhibitor area. To ensure your space, complete the 2019-2020 Sponsorship & Exhibitor Application as soon as possible but no later than Friday, July 12, 2019. ‚Äč

Hotel Accommodations

ISACS has secured a special discounted room rate of $169/night plus tax for single or double occupancy at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. To make a reservation, call 1-800-266-9432 and mention the group name Independent Schools Association of the Central States before Tuesday, October 15, 2019. ALERT - Hotel Accommodations Scam
ISACS does not reach out to attendees and exhibitors directly to book hotel rooms. To book a room at the ISACS group rate, only use the discounted group rate posted above or communicated with you via emails from info@isacs.org. If you receive calls or emails from third-party companies, we strongly advise that you do not provide these solicitors any personal information. Large conferences are targets for companies seeking to take advantage of attendees. We have received reports that our attendees have been contacted by third-party companies with offers to provide hotel accommodations at a lower rate than the ISACS group rate. These solicitations are an attempt to confirm your email address and obtain your credit card information. Please do not provide any information to these third-party companies. If you have any doubt about the information that you are receiving regarding the ISACS Annual Conference room block, please email or call us at programinfo@isacs.org or (312) 750-1190.

Air Travel
Air travel to Louisville can be accessed via the Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF).

Ground Transportation to/from the Airports
Taxis from the airport to the hotel cost approximately $20 one-way and take approximately 15 minutes outside of rush hour and 30 minutes during rush hour.

Parking Information
Overnight Parking

For ISACS hotel guests, the discounted overnight self-parking rate is $19/night for hotel guests, which will be billed directly to your hotel room bill and has in and out privileges. At check-in, let the front desk staff know you self-parked in the hotel’s garage. Entrance to self-parking garage is on Liberty Street.

Overnight valet parking is not discounted at the Marriot’s garage and is at a rate of $34/night.

Daily Self-Parking
There is no daily parking at the Louisville Marriott Downtown’s parking garage. However, there are several lots within 1-2 blocks of the hotel and Convention Center including:

  • Commonwealth Garage at Third and Jefferson Street with a rate of $10/day. This garage is connected to the Marriott and the pedway to the Convention Center.
  • Jefferson Centre Garage, at the corner of Jefferson & Second Street, and Starks Garage. 430 S. Third Street, offer daily self-parking rates of $10/day.

Bus Drop off and Pick Up at the Louisville Marriott Downtown
If your school is using a bus to transport faculty and staff, please notify ISACS at (312) 750-1190.

Conference Registration Fees

  • $175 per person (ISACS member) for 1-day registration
  • $270 per person (ISACS member) for 2-day registration
  • $240 per person (non-member) for 1-day registration
  • $370 per person (non-member) for 2-day registration

Registration includes a banquet lunch.

Registration will open in August 2019 when you can register online and select sessions and lunch attendance. You must register before Wednesday, October 16, 2019. There is no onsite registration.

Registration Confirmation

  • Once registered, an automatic email will be sent to the contact person identified during on-line registration.
  • By October 1, ISACS will send a confirmation email to each registrant, which will include conference details and a list of pre-registered sessions.
  • Approximately one week prior to the Annual Conference, ISACS will send a FINAL email confirmation with pre-registered sessions.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the ISACS office at (312) 750-1190 as we may have an incorrect email address in our system.

Onsite Book Sellers
ISACS will welcome Carmichael’s Bookstore to sell books by authored presenters and books of educational interest.

Nursing Mother's Room
Information on the availability of a nursing mother’s room is forthcoming.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for the Annual Conference must be received in writing to ISACS by emailing programinfo@isacs.orgby Wednesday, October 16 to receive a refund. ISACS will determine the refund amount, if any, that can be refunded after the Annual Conference. Cancellations received after Wednesday, October 16 will not receive a refund. At any time, registration may be transferred to another member from the same school.
