Trustee Day – Thursday November 6
ISACS will be hosting a day-long workshop designed specifically for trustees from ISACS schools on Thursday, November 6 from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.  Trustees will have the opportunity to learn from two national experts:   Jim Honan will lead a conversation in the morning about the most current issues faced by committed trustees as they lead independent schools.  Trustees will have the opportunity to share their most pressing concerns/questions prior to this session so that Jim can address these topics during the session. In the afternoon, Allen J. Proctor will share the need for schools to build more sustainable business models, while examining how some commonly held notions of fiscal responsibility, such as budget balance and building endowment, can harm rather than support the reliability and sustainability of educational programs. Trustees will learn ways to meet the emerging needs of governing a 21st century school while also maintaining a firm commitment to financial sustainability.

For more information and to register, visit the Trustee Day webpage.
