The Independent Schools Association of the Central States is the largest regional organization serving the independent school community. ISACS currently provides services for over 200 schools across the Midwest. For over forty years, schools have turned to ISACS for assistance regarding accreditation, professional development, and the creation of excellent learning experiences.

ISACS Accreditation Services are highly regarded in the independent school community. This seven-year cycle is based upon peer-to-peer reviews of the fit between a school's stated mission and actual program implementation. With the guidance of our highly experienced Director of Accreditation and the Accreditation Review Committee, visiting teams support schools in creating and implementing strategic plans that address clearly defined standards.

Administrators and teachers consistently rate ISACS Annual Conference, Heads Conference, "Leaders and Learners" Institute, the Veterans in the Vanguard, and New Teacher Institute as defining experiences in their educational careers. New programs, including "Mentoring to Recruit, Retain and Sustain" and an Academy for Division Heads, promise to bring yet further specialized professional development to the ISACS community.
